This week I was dumbstruck by two media stories on beauty pageants.

In today's paper there was a story about Jade Whitford. A pretty 14 year old who is too scared to go to school or even out with her friends. Jade is not living in a war-torn country.

Bellaboo has recently returned from the US and an absolute highlight was an event we did with girls in South Central Los Angeles.
